Shadow Council Comments

Bob Nelson

"I vote NO on any incentive programs for developers! I believe that a developer should know what obstacles lie in his/her path when they buy a piece of property. I think that the council will pass a resolution that will grant some form of incentive to the developer of the Interplaza West project, and we just need to let the council that we disapprove."

Valerie Walker

"My vote is NO on the Interplaza West. While the wording of this dealmay be different and the ammount may be less, the result is the same - a big box development in Golden. It does not fit golden's small town character and 75% of those who voted in the last election opposed it. the council members must be held responsible to the electorate. If not on this issue, what will they attack next - the 1% growth limit?"
