  • Stopping For-Profit Private Prisons Pre-Conference (Grassroots Leadership)
  • Action! With local telephone workers organized by CWA and IBEW
  • Multi-media celebration of Jobs with Justice organizing around the country

    SATURDAY

  • Lessons on the Right to Organize: King and the 1968 Memphis Strike
  • Workshops - 20 workshops including Right to Organize, Workers' Rights Boards, Coalition Building, Mobilization, Immigrant Rights, Affirmative Action, Living Wage, Stop Sweatshops!
  • Organizing in the Global Economy: The worldwide fight for Jobs with Justice
  • Interfaith Service
  • Open Mic/Coffeehouse - bring your instruments, voices, poetry for an evening of homegrown jwj talent

    SUNDAY

  • Student-Labor Plenary! Highlights of campus organizing and Student Labor Actions from around the country
  • Post-conference Beach Party
  • Conference Registration will begin at 9:00am on Friday 21st.
    All four Pre-conferences will begin Friday at 9:30am.
    Prep for the Action will be at 4:00pm.
    The final session on Sunday 23 will end by 2:00pm.
