HEALTH ADVOCATES TRAINING
Our semi-annual courses, Issues in Immigrant and Cross-Cultural Health and Working in Global Health are designed for health professionals and students. We also offer customized training in cultural competence and language access issues for health care providers. Somalis in Minnesota is a four-week class designed for health care, education and social service professionals who work with Somali immigrants in Minnesota. For health care providers interested in language and cross-cultural competence, an excellent program in Baja California, Mexico is "Se Habla La Paz"
