| Rob Morton, V-P Human Resources, was just quoted on a local T.V. station, that Imerys at Sylacauga has not harrassed, threatened or intimidated employees at the facility. Well, let him explain why just today(3-25-00) Frank Hutchison threatened and still might fire Eugene Landers, a strong union supporter, for bringing in food to workers, a practice that has been going on for years at the plant! The only difference today was, the food was brought from a solidarity rally sponsored by PACE Union. Its evident that Mr. Morton,"a higher up", is unaware of what is happening at this location. Imerys has made some management changes at the top, maybe its time to look at Sylacauga.
