| Don't you realize that the only way we can get messed up now is by not sticking together? Why else do you think that the company is promoting the ideas of not joining the union and continuing to argue amongst one another. Divided we fall!
The only way to come out of this thing ahead is to band together and participate fully. Those who do not join do not get to go to meetings or be elected as shop stewards or officers. In other words, you have no voice in how YOUR job is negotiated. The company (which for some reason seems to only stand for salary employees and their pets), would like nothing better than for us (meaning the hourly employees whose jobs are at stake), to come to the table weak and divided. The choice is yours. Pout and whine about things not going how you want now, or stand up for yourself and work with everyone else to make things better. |
