| We are pleased to again open up the message board for use by Imerys workers.
It is time to put the rancor behind us. Imerys workers supporting PACE won the election, and PACE hopes to begin bargaining soon and after a negotiating committee is elected by the workers. PACE hopes that Imerys management will drop its anti-union attitude and deal with union as a partner and based on mutual respect. It will take both sides to make workers feel that they are valued employees and to make the Sylacauga operation a success. It is time for all workers to unify behind the Union, whether they voted for the union or not. Unity is the key to a fair contract. |
