| It was my supervisor who stated "No more Mr.Nice Guy; Things are going to start tightening up around here!" All I've got to say is its about damn time and they need to start with management. Twice this week two employees in the plant 1 Ultra-fine were exposed to hazardous chemicals because they are not properly contained. This is not the first time. Several employees have been exposed to CMI150 due to it being improperly stored in tote bins. One employee had to have the skin peeled off of his back; another got off work and went straight to the emergency room because he had large knots come up all over his body. What did the company do? Nothing, but refill the tote bins. They do a real good job of making sure things are in order when MSHA makes their rounds; then things go back to hell. Let's start having a say in how our work environment is run. Let's make sure things are safe and that chemicals are stored the way they are supposed to be. LET'S ALL VOTE YES ON JUNE 22!!! |
