| On June 22 we will have a chance to cast a vote that will decide our future relationship with IMERYS. Up to now we haven't had the opportunuty to decide anything except the right to QUIT or accept the decisions of the boss.
Our supervisors have and will be raising many questions trying to create doubt, confusion and cover up the true issues. When management, and their outside helpers talk about the payment of dues, your right to strike, the lack of benefits, asks us to give them another chance and asks you to vote "NO" he does this so that HE can continue to cast the ONLY and DECIDING vote ON OUR FUTURE. Management knows that our"YES VOTE" will give us the continuing right to have a vote on how much dues we will pay-protect our right to strike-protect our right to file objections to managements decisions without fear of losing our job-protect our right to have a voice and a vote in our working conditions, wages, promotions and all other benefits WE NEED AND DESERVE. The decision we will be making on June 22 is a simple one, "WHO WILL DECIDE OUR FUTURE US OR MANAGEMENT. The results of our decision will not be so simple. Vote no and we will give up the only chance we may ever have to vote on our future. VOTE YES AND WE WILL ASSURE OUR RIGHT TO A CONTINUING VOTE AND VOICE TO HELP DECIDE OUR FUTURE AND THE FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. |
