| Concerned Spouse, I understand and admire your support for your husband, the goon. I can't fully answer your question about his application for the job in maintenance because I don't know all the details, as you may not either. But at our plant in Dry Branch, which is UNION, we do go by seniority. I for one went thru an apprentice program in maintenance for my current job. This program was bargained for by our Union back before I was even around and I feel that I owe it to my past to protect me future because of this.
I'm not saying that there may not be some kinks in the system, what I am saying is that the people have a right to stand up and be counted therefore they should ne allowed to vote on this issue and not be harassed by any "goon squad" or any other union busting technique. Let's allow these people to be heard and become UNION STRONG!! |
