| I would like to tell you a little bit about one of those so called goons who happens to be my husband. He has worked for Georgia Marble for 22 years and we've been married for 20. I've seen everything that can happen in a company.I've been through one strike.My husband started out stacking bags when he went to work there and worked his way up to leadman.He was all ways at work and on time and might have missed about 5 days the whole time he's been there. Before the two companies merged there was a job in maint. on the board and he applied for it and some other guy that had been there for only a year got it. The thing I would like to know is where was his UNION ,that he had supported all those years, at. Seniorty didn't mean a thing at the time.I think everyone needs to realize that the goons are people with families just like everybody else and have their on opinions just like everyone else.But it seems to me if your not for the union your not supposed to have one.The goons are standing up for what they believe in just like the people who are for the union. |
