I was once for the union. I came out because of one union organizers ignorance. But how can we vote for a company who would allow their goof troops to harass a man, who just comes in and does his job and doesn't want to be bothered by the maintenance leader and his goof troops. I saw with my own eyes one of the lead maintenane men on afternoons, wearing a teeshirt that said, " If you're for the union, your momma's a whore for having you and something about being a bastard." This is about childish. If management is going to let this happen, then we need the union. I've been told by one of our fearless leaders, that if the union is voted in, we will go under the old GM contract. This is a downright lie. The company would have to show losses in order to reduce our benefits. We all know this is not the case. In the shareholders meeting, we heard the exact opposite. We are the largest, the biggest money making plant in the US. Why are we not fairly compensated for our work? And why are we threatened that our benefits will be drastically reduced if we vote union? The company is saying this is a new company, give them a chance. This is not a new company, new name, same management, same old game. Ask management how their full bonus was. Where was ours? Gotta go for now, but will return. VOTE UNION!!! Enjoy!
