I don't pretend to know what has being going on with the workers in Sylacauga. I do know people are the same everywhere, we all want the best life we can have for our families and ourselves. I don't know if any of you reading this have ever worked for a company were you could sit down with the plant manager and talk to them about a problem. Well I have, I have been at the same plant in Sandersville for 29 years. I remember when your seniority meant something. When you bid on a job and you were the senior employee you would get it. We now use interview teams to fill jobs, you will normally get the job by being friends or relatives of members of the team. Seniority, training and experience are not deciding factors. Once in a while management doesn't approve of the selection and they will change it and know one knows what they base their decision on. This is just a part of what can be changed by being UNION. We would also have input on our WAGES, BENEFITS and RETIREMENT. When someone tries to talk to you about the UNION listen and ask questions. Make an informed decision.
BE HONEST, BE STRONG, BE UNION
