God Bless Mr. Shem Hogan who passed away on Thurs. May 4, 2000. Mr. Hogan was our Union Brother in Cornwall, England. What a great and honorable man. He died with his last fight for our rights, not his. He had already established himself firmly in the fight for justice and fair labor practises for his fellow working man in England. He died a noble and compassionate man who never stopped fighting for the rights of the working class. He will always be remebered.

Lets continue the fight and win this one in his honor. We will all miss him greatly and will be forever grateful for all his efforts.

I only met with Mr. Hogan a brief time, but he was very concerned about our rights being protected here in Sylacauga and without hesitation he joined our efforts. Again, in honor of Shem Hogan the labor movement will continue.
