| Its the year 2000 with labor laws to keep companys from hiring thugs and goons to keep unions out, but Imerys has been able to do just that.
Think about it. You take a group of workers that have little senority and that have never made much money. you then give them a big raise above everyone else, let them have all overtime they want, allow them to steal time, and overlook all their time spent away from the plant. Then when the workers try to form a Union, the company goes back to this select group of workers and implys that all these benefits will quickly end IF the Union becomes part of the company. Then you have it....legalized goons. |
