| I worked at Georgia Marble for nearly ten years,moved up from stacker to millwright in that time.Our plant was old,worn out and running on a prayer,but it was running.You know who kept it running and producing?(quite well)US GEORGIA MARBLE WORKERS!We were like a family ,people working together for a common goal.one of our goals was to make an honest living,every one equal in what they did. then along comes the "tech" bullshit where you had guys with one year experience getting paid more than guys with 10 or 15 years time.apparently its not what you know but who you blow.how do you walk away from a 10 year job with insurance and benefits?well I dont think I walked away,I think they pushed me down and out.it isnt the same place it was,if im going to start over is isnt going to be competing for a job ive already had for 4 years.hang in there guys,youre all good people and you deserve equality.
