| Job security and workers loyalty should not be memory of the past, but a workmans ethic that we practise everyday. If we are to be a Global Leader in the market place of today and in the future, then we shoul first look at how we will get there. Will it be fighting amongst ourselves or working together?? There is literally a world of opportunity out there to be a World Leader in both product and in employee relations. Unfortunately, we have gotten lost at the starting line. There is no reason why we cannot be successful beyond all of our dreams. BUT it is the integrity of the RELATIONSHIP that drives success.
We cannot be successful when you take away our rights and threaten us with our futures and our families' future. This has taken place already and the damage has been done. Promises do not mean much to us after what we have seen. The future means as much to me and my family as it does to you and your family. I believe that we have what it takes to beat ANY competition and weather any storm. The workers here at Sylacauga are some of the hardest working, and most dedicated workers you will find in the world market, but we need a Union to organize to our fullest potential. There has been too many incidents of corruption and deception for us to ever be without some type of protection. With a Union we can have a great PARTNERSHIP with the same goals and principles. A PARTNERSHIP IS WHERE WE ALL SHOULD BE HEADED. UNION YES!!! |
