ACTION, TEAMWORK & SOLIDARITY

On Friday, September 24, 1999 at 5:00 p.m., we had a successful turnout for the rally held at 3576 Wesley Chapel Road in Atlanta, GA.

This location is a very busy station, but it did not intimidate or have any impact on the solidarity of the Atlanta S Labor Party! Crown could not take the pressure after a majority of their customers refused to purchase gas when the labor party gave an educative reason for boycotting Crown. In fact, they were hurting so badly they called the DeKalb County Police Department to read the laws, rules and regulations; however, when the DeKalb County Police was introduced to the labor party their way of speaking changed after being introduced to Civil Rights Leader, Rev. James Orange with the AFL-CIO; Walt Cleveland, United Way; Peggy Dobbins, Lan Fletcher, Aleve Douglas, Taka Ono and Tom Coffin all with the Atlanta Labor Party; and, George Henery with Local 72.

Thanks, Atlanta for another success!

Solidarity Forever!
