| This website is so greedy, it grabs my message before I am through! (cont) The Religion committee will meet again, and focus on more activities around the Crown boycott. At my church, Father Joe Muth again wrote a Labor Day message to the parishioners and told of our continuing involvement with the Crown boycott. He reminded members of the visit of BJ Case, and of the efforts of the Catholic Labor Committee to meet with Father Harold Ridley, S.J. who sits on the Board of Crown. At present, the committee is communicating with Crown as to a possible time for a meeting between them and our members who were refused entry to the annual Crown board meeting. The Catholics for Justice at Crown also mourn the deaths of the father of Ed Rothstein, our Crown coordinator, in Rochester, NY, and Bishop Frank Murphy, known as one of the leading justice bishops in the US. We hope both find rest and peace! |
