| For the second year, the Metropolitan Baltimore AFL-CIO Religion-Labor Committee has met to seek encouragement for the Labor Day in the Pulpit events. Called by sister Anne Mickens, and chaired by the Rev. John Davis-El, members again asked leaders of our respective congregations to cooperate with the National Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice in this program. Samples of readings were printed for each particular religion, and distributed to the committee by Ms. Mickens.
