| During the week of August 3, 4, 5, and 6, Alvin Freeman, the Chairman of the Locked-Out Crown Group, attended the Rainbow-Push Convention in Chicago. Even with a number of dignitaries, present .. Tipper Gore, Attorney General Janet Reno and Senator Bill Bradley .. Brother Freeman was able to get a person introduction to and a blessing from the Reverend Jesse Jackson.
Brother Freeman left the convention that a feeling of the Crown Boycott was forthcoming. Hundreds of handbills and Boycott Crown buttons were passed out. A BIG thanks goes out to Brother Hurst. |
