Atlanta

I would like to thank Gladys Haley, Crown Coordinator of Georgia, and the Concerned Black Clergy of Atlanta, and radio station WRFG for having me down during the week of July 14, 1999 to speak on the Crown Boycott. The Concerned Black Clergy endorsed the boycott. Radio station WRFG held a rally at the Crown station at 225 Clifton St. S. E., Atlanta on July 20th. The trip was a success. Keep up the good work.

Greensboro, North Carolina Activity:

The rallies at Crown stations on 1000 South Elm/Eugene Street, and 2715 S. Elm Street on Saturday, July 24 was a success. We turned away a lot of cars with our hand billing. Thanks to the Triad CLB Union Label, and the Communications Workers of Greensboro. Special thanks to Thomas Hefner and Tom Coley for their help in coordinating the rallies.
