| Crown's CEO Henry Rosenberg, Jr. was voted Grinch of the Year at a joint event sponsored by Jobs with Justice and the DC Central labor Council.
The activists on hand voted by contributing money to student labor organizing. On behalf of the locked out Crown workers, we thank those who supported us in our struggle. Special thanks to Brandon Rees. Al Gore should have sent Brandon down to Florida. Maybe then the Shrub wouldn't be moving to the White House. WE promoted our victory at Crown headquarters in downtown Baltimore with a banner that said, "HENRY THE GRINCH STOLE OUR X-MAS". Thanks to all who helped us talk to people who wanted to know why we were there. Thanks also to the Crown headquarters workers who took and read our leaflet. No news about Apex Oil at the Crown Stockholders Meeting. Rosenberg was too busy cutting the locked out workers and our allies down and off! Loyola College President Father Ridley said nothing as usual! SHAME ON YOU!!! CareFirst/Blue Cross CEO Bill Jews didn't EVEN bother to attend and resigned in disgrace! Bill Jews, while your sitting in your nice home over the holidays, please remember the union members "blood money" pay your salary so that you and your family can live there. You did nothing to help us. SHAME ON YOU! The boycott will continue and we have new energy to win our fight. As you and your family enjoy your holiday, please remember that this corporate criminal has yet to receive justice. Please say a little prayer for the locked out workers and their families.
