The Dutch Union FNV has started a action to inform the Dutch nation about the the behavior of The Crown-oil Company, and the consequences for here Employees, In the nation wide FNV Magazine of 3 June 1999, we published a article, with the facts about Crown-oils commercial, environmental and social behavior. The FNV also has opened a nation wide bank account number, where the public can deliver a contribution to support the lock-out employees of Crown-oil Company. ( GIRO NR. 1085558 ) In the Netherlands, we are not used on labor conflicts which take so much time to resolve. We consider that as unacceptable for everybody involved. The damages coursed by a conflict to Company and Employees has to be managed. Usually the union and the Company install a committee of independent members, who carry the trust from both conflicting parties, to work out a solution to resolve the conflict. We got a tremendous respect for the stamina of the Lock-out employees, The behavior of the Crown management is considered less professional. We will inform the managers of Companies we now, which might come in a situation to do business with the Crown-oil Company of these facts. |
