| At 5:15am 8/1/00 Crown group Chairperson Alvin Freeman and Locked-out worker Betty Maiden greeted on going and off coming Crown salaried personel,with picket signs and leaflets,urging them to vote no to the proposed takeover by Rosemore.Some of Alvin's 25 and 30 years working friends,met him with a smile and some with a frown,but all noded in agreement with Alvin,on a vote against the merger!!!! |
