| Locked out workers Danny Duncan and Bill Lewis were swamped Saturday, July 22 at Heaven 600 Radio's Praise Fest. Baltimore's churchgoers were there in force as the workers from Texas got to meet and speak with hundreds of attendees.
Sorry to have missed Rev. Frank Reid who just dropped by our booth to say hi. We visited the Carefirst/ Blue Cross booth to send a message to Crown's only African American Board of Director, Bill Jews, who serves as "The Blues" CEO in Maryland and DC. We asked him to help us with this fight. Mr. Jews thinks it's better to stay on the board and ignore his company's racist activities. Thanks to the Heaven 600 radio family for all of their solidarity, love and of course, their prayers. |
