| Good wishes from good friends: Last week I took a few days to visit my old stomping grounds of Pittsburgh to visit friends from California who were in town for the SEIU convention. Former United Farmworker boycotters returned to Pittsburgh for the first time in 30 years, and we were hosted by the Thomas Merton Center at a great reunion. The PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE had just run a big story on the Association of Pittsburgh Priests, which has supported labor for the past 30 years. Members Fr. Donald McIlvaine and Fr. Jack O'Malley hosted us for two days, and I shared news of Baltimore and the Crown Boycott with everyone. It was great to know that we are all still in the struggle for working people! Good wishes to the workers at Crown from old and new friends. A special treat for me-I got to see my godchild, a "boycott" baby who was born in Pittsburgh 32 years ago.
