| Members of PACE Union 4-227, Texans United, Harris
County AFL-CIO and Harris County elected officials attended a safety briefing pertaining to Crown's environmental pollution record which has just been recommended for a $1.25 million fine by the Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission. Crown Group Chairman-Alvin Freeman gave a short speech about the lockout. Texins United's Rick Abraham also gave a small debriefing about our new report "More Dirty Business". The Hall was standing room only! In attendance was U. S. Congressman Gene Green, State Senator Mario Gallegos, State Representatives Rick Noreiga, Joe Moreno and other government officials including Representatives from the TNRCC. |
