Approximately 25 - 30 locked out Crown folks and locked out Steelworkers from Kaiser Aluminum, spent 3 days leafleting. We gave out Crownasaurus Pollution Refrigerator magnets. We shared a great deal of solidarity. We also enjoyed some of the best Texas style bar-b-que in Pasadena. My thanks goes out to Hector Saenz and Ronnie Smith for bar-b-queing. Phyllis Miller, B. J. Case, Karen Sloan and Betty Maiden for all their support and help in decorating. We are going to try and do this every year whether locked out or not. We'd also like to thank Jim for being our official photographer. |
