| We were a small but lively group out in front of the Baltimore Hyatt Regency last Thursday night as the Boy Scouts honored Cardinal Keeler. The cardinal received the Henry Rosenberg, Sr. Citizenship Award.
While I think it's fine that the Cardinal be honored, I don't think that he should be connected in any way with Henry Rosenberg and Crown. A good way that the Cardinal can "redeem" himself is by requesting that Loyola's Father Ridley remove himself from the Crown Board of Directors. We were out there with signs and leaflets sending the group at the dinner a message that they should be good boy scouts and stop giving comfort to civil rights abusers. Shame on the Cardinal!! |
