Hi everyone...
First of all, a bit about me. I'm majoring in Animal Science and minoring in Sleep Deprivation. I have grand aspirations of climbing every 14,000 foot peak in Colorado, but at the rate I am going, I'll be 64 years old once I reach that goal.
A student at CSU last year, I am returning to RRCC (I had attended for two years before transferring to Ft. Collins) to pick up a few summer credits before going back to CSU next fall. This is where the Animal Science major comes in (right, I bet you were wondering how you had missed seeing that major in the RRCC catalogue) and plan to become a veterinarian and work in Asia with local doctors to improve communities. Another goal- learning the languages used in Afghanistan or Pakistan! So far I know the alphabet...I guess I have a ways to go...
Obviously, I love animals since I am going toward that profession, and I currently work at a vet clinic. It is not a job for the weak of stomach, let me tell you. I have quite a few ghastly surgery stories which I will spare you from. :)
More than animals, however, my passion in life is my relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the center of my existence, and brings more meaning and fulfilment to it than I could ever express. He is awesome!
I'm not sure what else we're supposed to say on this posting, so I guess I'll end it here. Have a wonderful summer and I hope your classes go great!
