| When we were kids we used to tease Peggy by calling her "Piggie". She hated it at the time, which made us do it even more.
I thought that when I'd see her again, whether it was at a family reunion, a wedding or a graduation, I'd apologize to her, if not for her sake, then for mine. Of course, I never got the chance to apologize. I hope that she forgives me anyway, and I have a feeling she does, because she was just that sort of person. The world is a lesser place because Peggy is no longer a part of it, but her spirit lives on in those of us who knew her. Good-Bye, Peggy. |
